Winemaker's Notes
Vibrant notes of raspberry, violet and sweet cake batter lift from the glass. The palate bursts with flavors of black raspberry jam, cocoa. The 2016 vintage sports a lush mouthfeel with great texture beckoning this wine to accompany a variety of cuisine. Youthful acidity and chalky minerality are the backbone of this wine, while sweet oak tannins round out the finish
John's Notes
After featuring Rabble’s Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 almost a year ago, I was excited to try Rabble’s Zinfandel 2016. Still youthful after a few years of bottle age, the fresh/juicy red and black fruit (raspberry, red cherry, blackberry) are the star of the show, and are balanced well by a vibrant acidity and medium intensity fine-grained tannins. Easy to drink

Reviews
Anthony Gismondi (87): The Rabble 2016 zin is grown at Mossfire Ranch in Paso Robles. The resulting juicy, medium-weight, fruity but not too sweet red is aged in a mix of French and American oak. The attractive, spicy, raspberry flavours spill across the palate with a light tug of tannins. Simple grilled meats, pork or even root vegetables would be the winter match
